The Little Milk Co and Cashel Farmhouse Cheesemakers

During an Irish Food Event, I've met the lovely people from the Little Milk Company and from Cashel Farmhouse Cheesemakers, and I've found myself in cheese heaven. Their products are delicious and I've spent a fair amount sample all their different cheese from Brie, to Blue Cheese to Cheddar to a spectacular goat cheese rolled in ash. The Little Milk Company grouped Irish organic dairy farmers and they make cheese in a traditional way using methods from the 19th Century. www.thelittlemilkcompany.ie

The Brie is very creamy with cow milk made by Knockdrinna farmhouse. Its products can be found at Harrods and other cheese boutiques around UK and obviously Ireland as well as online.  Just add a bowl of grapes and a nice bottle of white wine and the after dinner is sorted. www.knockdrinna.com
The Crozier Blue from the Cashel Farmhouse Cheesemakers is quite a rarity for being the only blue cheese made with sheep's milk in Ireland. It is divine and in my opinion, served with some honey trickled  over  it , it is just the best.

The Cashel Blue is the original farmhouse blue cheese from Ireland. Made with cow milk using the traditional method of two centuries ago, this tasty cheese has been on the tables all over the world for the last 30 years. Cashel Farmhouse products can be found in all the best shops in UK from Harrods, Fortnum & Mason, Selfridges as well as being sold online. When you browse their website you will be tempted to buy some of their products because  the creaminess of their cheese make s them very versatile for cooking as well. www.cashelblue.com
